From 26 to 28 September 2017, UNIDO will host the 2nd “One-Belt-One-Road Inclusive and Sustainable City Exhibition and Dialogue” (OBOR event) in Vienna, Austria. The 2nd OBOR event will focus on sector-specific urban-industrial development challenges, which will aid in the development of concrete project-based opportunities for business matchmaking, financing and investment.
The event will feature participants from the public and private sectors, including municipal representatives, development finance institutions, domestic and international enterprises, international organizations, industry association, and experts from academia.
The first “One-Belt-One-Road Inclusive and Sustainable City Exhibition and Dialogue” was held from 17 to 21 October 2016 at the Vienna International Centre, UNIDO Headquarters, Vienna, Austria.
UNIDO is pleased to announce the launch of the “One-Belt-One-Road Inclusive and Sustainable City Service Network” which is open for signature to all representatives from cities, chambers of commerce and academic institutions. This network aims to provide the following services to the signatories of the focal point agreement:
The “One-Belt-One-Road Inclusive and Sustainable City Service Network” is a mutually beneficial service open to all signatories on a voluntary basis. Please note that this agreement is non-binding in nature and that all services can be availed without any financial obligation to either party. Those interested are invited to sign the attached focal point agreement.
